Our Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity - Purah Guide is the best source of information for Purah, giving you comprehensive details on her background, questline, and the Chapter entries where she plays a significant role.

If there are two major characters that most people are eager to see 100 years ago in the BOTW timeline, those would be Purah and Robbie. Because they are both eccentric, people are curious to find out what they are like during the Age of Calamity.

Background of Purah

We first meet Purah as a charming little kid scientist in one of the major quests in BOTW. She will help us activate the remaining Rune functionalities of the Sheikah Slate, as well as improve the existing ones.

She is very fond of taking photos and has the habit of saying "Click, Snap!" and calling the main hero "Linky."

We learned that she regressed into a child after some failed experiments with a serum.

Purah in the Age of Calamity

In the Age of Calamity, we are able to meet Purah at her prime. Together with Robbie, she will help us in studying and understanding the vital information contained within the little Guardian. This information in turn helps in defeating Calamity Ganon.

In the Chapter entry Road the Ancient Lab, Purah helped extract the visual data present in Terrako's memory.

In the short time that they studied Terrako, Robbie and Purah were able to give preliminary information to Zelda and Impa, showing the ruins that Calamity Ganon will bring to Hyrule if left unstopped.

In the Chapter entry Akkala Tower, Purah helped activate the first Sheikah Tower, and later on, all of the remaining Sheikah Towers. She discovered that the towers help provide a full map of the surroundings, helping them track and locate monsters and even enemy bases and outposts.

After her big discovery on the usage of the towers for generating maps, Purah learned another powerful utility of the towers. In the entry Destroy the Yiga Clan!, she shared with the heroes that towers can be used for teleportation. This enables them to go anywhere within the kingdom easily.

In the Chapter entry Calamity Strikes, Robbie and Purah finally complete their analysis of Terrako, but they were stopped from sharing their research with the heroes by Yiga Clan infiltrators.

Through their research, they were able to extract images that show the Divine Beasts under the control of Calamity Ganon. This information is vital because by helping the Champions, it can be prevented. Time is of the essence though. They need to help the Champions while they are still alive and not yet defeated by the Blights.

Fortunately, Purah was able to escape the Yiga Clan and moved to Fort Hateno.

In the entry Each Step Like Thunder, she helped our heroes disable a large swarm of Guardians trying to take down the fort.

Purah joined as well in the rescue of the Hyrulean army in the Great Plateau. Not only did she reactivate the Sheikah Towers, but she also upgraded them, making mass teleportation possible. This will have a large impact on their future effort in fighting Calamity Ganon.

The full scope of Purah's achievement was realized in the entry All Hyrule United, where she helped teleport the whole Hyrulean army, from various locations into the field next to the castle.

Robbie and Purah didn't join the final confrontation with Calamity Ganon inside Hyrule Castle, as being scientists, that would have been too dangerous for them. They were given a final glimpse standing on a Sheika Tower after Ganon was defeated.
