Unlocking Zelda
Zelda is unlocked in the entry Road to the Ancient Lab of Chapter 1. You will be able to play her character in the middle of this major quest.
This version of Zelda is the Scholar Zelda, as all of her moveset and attack are based on Sheikah Slate weapons.
Unlocking Awakened Zelda
Near the end of the game, you will be able to transition from Scholar Zelda to Awakened Zelda, giving you the chance to move from Sheikah Slate weapons to Bow weapons.
You will unlock Awakened Zelda in the Chapter entry Each Step Like Thunder.
Awakened Zelda plays like an entirely new character, as her moveset and attacks are very different from Scholar Zelda.
