How realistic is the combat in Ghost of Tsushima?

As a game, the combat in Ghost of Tsushima is realistic, engaging, has depth, and is skill-based. This does not mean that it will be "like reality" though, as that is not the point of the game and that would be extremely boring.

However, in comparison to Devil May Cry or other games, Ghost of Tsushima combat is indeed realistic.
